Overview

Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive strategy for a complex product area and lead cross-functional initiatives. This role requires strong technical proficiency and the ability to influence across the organization.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in product management, ideally with 5+ years of experience leading product initiatives. You possess a sharp product sense and a relentless focus on outcomes, ensuring that your work drives meaningful value for customers and the business. You thrive in complexity and can adapt strategies as you learn, knowing when to start, scale, or stop investments. Your technical proficiency allows you to deeply understand how things work, enabling you to partner effectively with engineering, design, and analytics teams.

You are a natural leader who influences across the organization and with senior leadership. You balance urgency with thoughtful execution, ensuring that your team remains focused and aligned with company goals. You appreciate diverse backgrounds and experiences, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute their unique perspectives.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-growing tech environment is a plus, as is familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes. You may have a background in analytics or engineering, which enhances your ability to communicate effectively with technical teams. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate complex challenges with ease, making you an ideal fit for this role.

What you'll do

As the Lead Product Manager at Klaviyo, you will drive strategy for a large and complex product area, defining success metrics and prioritizing significant opportunities that align with company goals. You will partner with cross-functional teams to set a clear vision, build a roadmap, and deliver against goals while actively clearing blockers and strengthening team health. Your role will involve leading initiatives that shape the future of our platform at scale, ensuring that your team is equipped to execute effectively.

You will be responsible for adapting strategies based on insights gained from user feedback and market research. This includes conducting user research to understand customer needs and pain points, which will inform product development and enhancements. You will also collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure that the product vision is translated into actionable plans.

In addition, you will lead regular check-ins with stakeholders to communicate progress, gather feedback, and adjust priorities as necessary. Your ability to influence and align diverse teams will be crucial in driving successful outcomes. You will also mentor and support junior product managers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the team.

What we offer

Klaviyo offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on our product and the customers we serve. We value the unique backgrounds and experiences of our team members and strive to create an inclusive workplace. You will have opportunities for professional development and growth, as well as the chance to work on innovative projects that empower creators to own their own destiny. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in the potential of diverse perspectives to drive success.
