What you'll do

As a Staff Data Scientist at Coupang, you will lead initiatives to enhance our supply chain management systems through data-driven insights. You will analyze complex datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform strategic decisions related to inventory management and fulfillment operations. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands efficiently and effectively.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop and deploy machine learning models that optimize supply chain processes. This includes forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and improving purchasing strategies. You will also be responsible for conducting experiments to validate the effectiveness of new approaches and technologies in our SCM systems.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a strong data culture within the organization.
