You are skilled in performing both objective and subjective vehicle assessments using a variety of tools, both commercially available and developed by Waymo. Your technical expertise includes a solid understanding of actuator, vehicle, electrical, and control motion control architecture, which allows you to effectively translate complex systems into actionable test strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and executing test campaigns that validate the performance of Waymo's autonomous driving systems. You will write comprehensive test plans and procedures, ensuring that all aspects of the vehicle's motion control systems are thoroughly evaluated. Your work will involve developing scripts to automate the execution of tests and the analysis of results, streamlining the testing process and improving efficiency.

You will conduct both objective and subjective assessments of vehicle performance, utilizing a range of tools to gather data and insights. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable test strategies will be crucial in ensuring that the Waymo Driver meets the highest standards of safety and reliability. As part of the Systems Engineering team, you will play a key role in blending software and hardware systems to create innovative solutions for autonomous driving.
