Contractor Service Administrator (Facilities)

Who you are

You have experience in facilities management and are skilled at coordinating multiple service contracts. Your organizational skills allow you to manage operational schedules effectively, ensuring that vendor activities do not disrupt SpaceX operations. You are comfortable interacting with tradesmen, contractors, and building officials to facilitate maintenance and repairs. You understand the importance of adhering to standards set by SpaceX, the Air Force, and NASA, ensuring that all services meet the required quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Contractor Service Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various service contracts, including janitorial services, pest control, landscaping, and waste management. You will partner with the Purchasing team on the RFP and bid processes for these contracts, ensuring that all vendors are selected based on their ability to meet SpaceX's operational needs. You will coordinate schedules for vendors to minimize any impact on SpaceX's launch operations, working closely with suppliers to enhance service delivery efficiency. Your role will also involve managing operational requests and ensuring that tasks requiring vendor support are completed in a timely manner. You will act as a liaison between SpaceX and its contractors, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is executed according to established standards and timelines.
