Overview

Elastic is seeking a Federal Account Executive to drive the adoption of AI-powered search solutions within Federal Civilian accounts. You'll engage with customers to transform their data into actionable insights. This role requires experience in sales and a passion for technology.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly within the federal sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with engaging government clients. Your ability to build relationships and position yourself as a trusted advisor is key to your success. You are passionate about technology, especially AI and search solutions, and can articulate their value to potential customers. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with technical teams to ensure customer needs are met. You are results-driven and have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of federal procurement processes.

Desirable

Experience with AI technologies or search solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Department of Labor (DOL). A network within federal agencies can also be beneficial. You are comfortable with data analytics and can leverage insights to drive customer engagement and adoption of solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions within new Federal Civilian accounts while deepening engagement with existing ones. You will position yourself as a trusted advisor, assisting users and customers in harnessing the full power of Elastic's search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights. You will champion our Open Source offerings, articulating the value and capabilities of our sophisticated commercial features. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing account strategies, conducting presentations and demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
