Overview

Confluent is seeking an Inbound Sales Representative - Strategic to join their EMEA Sales team. You'll work closely with senior Account Executives to drive pipeline activities and close opportunities. This role requires strong prospecting and consultative selling skills.

You are a motivated, growth-minded individual with experience in sales, particularly in a technology-driven environment. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working alongside senior Account Executives to drive strategic accounts forward. Your consultative selling skills allow you to uncover opportunities and solve real business problems for customers. You understand the importance of building long-term value and relationships with clients, ensuring they get the most out of the technology offered. You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values diverse perspectives and ideas.

Desirable

Experience in the tech industry or with data streaming platforms is a plus. Familiarity with pipeline management and sales strategies will help you excel in this role. A background in consultative selling will enhance your ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with senior Account Executives to manage pipeline activities and close sales opportunities up to $100K. You will be responsible for identifying new consumption workloads, known as Streaming Projects, to maximize customer value from Confluent’s data streaming platform. Your day-to-day activities will include prospecting for new clients, engaging with potential customers, and presenting the value of our technology to various business units within strategic accounts. You will leverage your strong communication skills to articulate the benefits of our platform and address any questions or concerns from clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with the account team to develop strategies that align with customer needs and drive successful outcomes.
