OpenX is seeking an Account Manager for Publisher Development to drive revenue growth across their programmatic marketplace. You'll work closely with top publisher clients and leverage technologies like header bidding and oRTB. This role requires strong analytical and consultative skills.
You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the digital advertising space — your experience has equipped you with the skills to build and maintain strong client relationships. You thrive in a consultative role, understanding the nuances of client needs and how to address them effectively. You are familiar with programmatic advertising technologies, including header bidding and oRTB — your technical understanding enables you to guide clients in leveraging these tools to maximize their advertising potential. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and develop plans to capitalize on them.
You excel in fast-paced environments and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams — your ability to communicate effectively with Publisher Business Development, Solutions Architects, and Product teams ensures that you can deliver results that meet client expectations. You are detail-oriented and organized, managing multiple accounts while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
You are passionate about the digital media landscape and stay updated on industry trends — your curiosity drives you to explore new technologies and methodologies that can enhance client outcomes. You understand the importance of empathy in client relationships and strive to provide exceptional service that fosters long-term partnerships.
Experience with mobile app publishers is a plus — your familiarity with this segment can help you tailor strategies that resonate with their unique challenges and opportunities. As an Account Manager at OpenX, you will own a portfolio of mid-market omnichannel and mobile app publishers — your primary goal will be to deepen strategic relationships and drive revenue growth across our programmatic marketplace. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and how OpenX’s technology can help them achieve those goals.
You will guide partners in leveraging our technology solutions, including header bidding, oRTB, server-to-server integrations, and PMP solutions — your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate these complex tools to maximize their advertising revenue. You will conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their satisfaction and identify areas for improvement, ensuring they experience the full value of partnering with OpenX.
Collaboration will be key in this role — you will partner with Publisher Business Development to identify new opportunities for growth and work with Solutions Architects to ensure that client implementations are seamless. You will also collaborate with Buyer Development and Product teams to provide feedback on client needs and help shape future product offerings.
Your analytical skills will come into play as you track performance metrics and analyze data to provide clients with insights that inform their strategies — you will prepare reports and presentations that highlight successes and areas for optimization. You will be proactive in addressing any challenges that arise, ensuring that clients feel supported and valued throughout their journey with OpenX.
