Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes extensive knowledge in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, which are crucial for the role. You are skilled in performing roof and rocker panel repairs, as well as large area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train and mentor other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including mandatory overtime when necessary.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring high-quality repairs that meet industry standards. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. Your role will involve training other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them grow in their careers. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols while delivering exceptional results. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure that vehicles are repaired and delivered to customers on time, contributing to Carvana's mission of providing a seamless automotive retail experience.
