Enviva is hiring a Mobile Grinder Operator responsible for the safe operation of heavy industrial equipment and grinding attachments. This role requires attention to safety and quality standards while performing equipment maintenance.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety and quality in industrial operations. You understand the importance of following standard operating procedures and are comfortable operating heavy machinery such as front-end loaders and grapple loaders. You have a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, ensuring that all machinery is in good working order. You are willing to learn and adapt to the specific requirements of the mobile grinding operations.
Experience in operating heavy machinery or similar industrial equipment is a plus, but not required. A background in logistics or material handling can also be beneficial. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication in a fast-paced environment.
As a Mobile Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for the logistical movement and resizing of raw materials using a grinding attachment on mobile equipment. You will operate various types of heavy industrial equipment to load and unload trucks, ensuring that raw materials are efficiently processed and stored. Your role will involve conducting safe operations in accordance with company standards, and you will be expected to perform daily checks and basic maintenance on the equipment to keep it in optimal condition. You will also collect grinding samples for quality assurance to ensure that operations meet target specifications. Supporting daily woodyard operations, you will help achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
