Who you are

You have a strong background in workplace health and safety, with a focus on compliance and risk management. Your experience includes partnering with operations teams to implement safety policies effectively, ensuring adherence to local and regional regulations. You are skilled in leveraging lean principles and kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce ergonomic and conditional risks in the workplace. Your ability to build trust and influence change is evident in your collaborative approach with operations leaders and team members.

You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to convey safety policies and procedures clearly and concisely. You are adept at conducting comprehensive risk assessments and analyzing safety data to identify areas for improvement. Your expertise in safety programs and ergonomic knowledge enables you to provide valuable insights and training to operations teams, ensuring that safety standards are integrated into daily operations.

You are a proactive leader, capable of guiding a team of safety specialists and coordinators. You understand the importance of developing leadership skills within your team and are committed to creating and executing development plans for your safety associates. Your focus on best practices and continuous improvement ensures that safety policies evolve to meet the needs of the organization and its associates.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced operational environment is a plus, as is familiarity with safety regulations specific to the logistics and warehousing industry. A background in training and mentoring safety teams will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do
