Checkatrade is seeking a Trade Events Manager to lead the organization of high-profile trade initiatives, including the Checkatrade Awards. This role requires experience in event management and a creative approach to community engagement.
You are a proactive and highly organized individual with a passion for creating memorable experiences and bringing communities together. You have experience running and developing events, and you thrive in fast-paced environments. Your ability to think strategically and elevate events into dynamic engagement campaigns sets you apart. You are comfortable being in the weeds while also pushing the agenda across the organization. You take pride in the details and are energized by big ideas.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Checkatrade Trade Awards, managing everything from nominations and judging to production and post-event storytelling. You will be responsible for creating table plans, liaising with venues, and ensuring that the events deliver maximum brand benefit. You will also work on the Checkatrade Games, a brand-new flagship concept, and find creative ways to promote these standout events across multiple platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the success of these initiatives and to foster strong community engagement.
