You have over 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or go-to-market strategies specifically in China, particularly within the AI, Web3, blockchain, or deep tech sectors. You possess a proven track record of executing enterprise deals and market-entry strategies, showcasing your ability to navigate complex business landscapes. Your strong existing network across Chinese enterprises, academic institutions, Web3 protocols, and regulators is a key asset that you bring to the table. You are fluent in both Mandarin and English, which allows you to communicate effectively and negotiate successfully in diverse environments. Your deep understanding of China’s AI, blockchain, and regulatory landscape enables you to make informed decisions that align with local market needs. You thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments, demonstrating an entrepreneurial and metrics-driven mindset that drives results.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement a comprehensive China-specific go-to-market strategy aimed at achieving ecosystem penetration, developer adoption, and establishing enterprise partnerships. You will localize Sentient’s narrative, messaging, and campaigns to resonate with Chinese cultural, regulatory, and industry contexts. Identifying, prioritizing, and closing strategic partnerships across enterprises, research institutions, and protocols will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will build long-term relationships with Chinese AI and tech enterprises, universities, and policy bodies, representing Sentient at industry events, policy forums, and conferences in China. Partnering with local media, KOLs, influencers, and developer groups will be essential to drive awareness and adoption of Sentient’s initiatives. You will lead community-facing initiatives such as meetups, hackathons, and joint research pilots to accelerate grassroots traction. Monitoring and analyzing local industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory shifts will guide Sentient’s strategy in China, acting as the bridge between the Chinese ecosystem and Sentient’s global team to ensure local insights inform global product, ecosystem, and governance roadmaps.
