Product Manager, Compliance Platform

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on compliance or regulatory products. Your background includes building internal tooling or platform-as-a-service offerings that centralize and automate operational workflows. You are familiar with utilizing Machine Learning or AI to automate complex decision-making processes, which will be crucial in this role.

You possess strong analytical skills and can translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product features. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and compliance, ensures that you can drive product vision and execution effectively. What you'll do

As a Product Manager for the Compliance Platform at Stripe, you will own the core compliance control plane, defining and delivering a unified API and self-service platform that serves as the single source of truth for compliance program execution. You will lead the strategic shift to enable non-engineering teams to autonomously manage global compliance programs, enhancing operational efficiency and platform health.

You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that the product meets both user needs and compliance requirements. Your role will involve conducting user research to understand the needs of stakeholders and translating those insights into product features. You will also be responsible for defining success metrics for the compliance platform and ensuring that the product evolves to meet future regulatory demands.

Collaboration with legal and compliance teams will be essential as you navigate complex regulatory landscapes. You will facilitate discussions to align product development with compliance obligations, ensuring that all features are designed with regulatory considerations in mind.
