SpaceX is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to manage the supply chain process at their Rocket Development Facility. This role involves receiving, stocking, and issuing parts and materials to support site operations.
You are detail-oriented and organized, with a strong understanding of inventory management processes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining accurate records and ensuring that materials are handled properly. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable using computer systems for inventory transactions. You understand the importance of strict material handling practices and are dedicated to supporting the overall mission of SpaceX.
As an Inventory Control Clerk at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain process. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and issuing a wide variety of parts, materials, and hardware to support site operations. You will store parts and materials in designated locations, ensuring that they are easily identifiable and accessible. You will perform picking functions to create necessary kits of parts and materials, verifying that all items are available and accounted for. Additionally, you will maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with established procedures and monitor shelf-life storage to ensure proper rotation of stock. You will also conduct routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and transact to company computer systems as per procedures.
