Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex engineering projects in electronic device manufacturing. You'll utilize your technical expertise to manage project risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and have at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in electronic device manufacturing or a similar technical role. You have a proven track record of managing mobile or consumer electronics projects and possess experience in developing automated vision systems, fluid distribution processes, or mechanical material design. Your leadership skills enable you to drive complex, strategic initiatives effectively, and you excel in communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You are comfortable engaging in complex technical discussions in English or Chinese, ensuring that all issues are thoroughly resolved for everyone involved. You believe in building products that create opportunities for people, whether locally or globally.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project timelines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will confidently explain your team's analyses and proposals to leadership while discussing technical assessments during product development. Your role will involve identifying, prioritizing, and managing critical technical risks and changes to ensure all technical risks related to the product are identified and mitigated, enhancing the product lifecycle quality. You will drive productivity improvements, conduct failure analyses, perform statistical analyses, analyze tolerances, optimize cycle times, balance production lines, and implement manufacturing automation.
