SFMOMA is seeking an Interpretation Evaluation Intern to support the Interpretive Media department in creating educational content. This role is ideal for current students or recent graduates interested in art and media.
You are a current student or a recent graduate with a passion for art and education. You thrive in environments that value inclusivity and creativity, and you are eager to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance the visitor experience at a major cultural institution. Your curiosity drives you to explore new perspectives and engage with diverse voices in the art community.
You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders, including artists, educators, and museum staff. You are detail-oriented and have a keen interest in how interpretive media can enhance understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art. You are ready to take on challenges and learn from experienced professionals in the field.
As an Interpretation Evaluation Intern at SFMOMA, you will assist the Interpretive Media department in evaluating and developing educational audio/video assets and interactive experiences. You will work closely with the team to gather feedback from visitors and analyze how effectively the media communicates the stories behind the artworks. Your insights will help shape future projects and improve the overall visitor experience.
You will participate in the planning and execution of tours and events, contributing to the development of engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
