Okta is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering for their Collaboration Services & Productivity team. You'll drive the development of internal tooling and automation services while collaborating across various teams. This role requires strong leadership and engineering skills.
You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration. Your background includes working with cross-functional teams, and you excel at fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and empower teams to work effectively. You understand the importance of identity management and have experience with automation and data analytics. You are a lifelong learner who embraces diverse perspectives and encourages your team to do the same.
Experience with AI platforms and workflow orchestration is a plus, as is familiarity with various SaaS applications. You have a track record of implementing successful engineering practices and are comfortable navigating the challenges of a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Engineering Services and be responsible for driving the vision and execution of the Collaboration Services & Productivity team. You will lead a team of engineers focused on developing internal tooling and automation services that integrate with a wide array of SaaS applications. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet the needs of Okta employees. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, security, and internal business teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. You will also be involved in strategic planning and resource allocation to ensure the team is set up for success.
