Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light bodywork including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You possess skills in light bodywork, including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles, and are comfortable with tasks such as removing and installing bumpers, minor plastic welding, and small area bodywork including Bondo repair. You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You are also open to learning and growing your skills through training programs offered by Carvana.
Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair is a plus. You may also have certifications such as ASE, which can enhance your qualifications for this role. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for success in this position.
As an Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light bodywork on vehicles to prepare them for sale. This includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles to ensure they meet Carvana's high standards. You will also be tasked with removing and installing bumpers, conducting minor plastic welding, and performing small area bodywork, including Bondo repairs. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you work to restore vehicles to their best condition.
You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to complete your tasks efficiently. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are ready for customers in a timely manner.
