Amazon is hiring a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to manage and resolve receivables-related queries from customers. You'll support billing issues and drive collection targets while utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This role requires 3+ years of experience in finance operations.
You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce and at least 3 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong ownership skills, earning trust with customers to facilitate timely payments. Your understanding of the Accounts Receivables process allows you to effectively follow up with customers via emails and phone calls, ensuring timely collection of payments for your assigned portfolio. You maintain detailed post-correspondence updates on accounts receivable records, ensuring that aging is up to date and that credits and collections are applied accurately. You are skilled in monitoring high-risk accounts and ensuring timely escalation of challenges to management. You continually seek ways to improve the customer experience and assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for improvement.
In this role, you will manage and resolve receivables-related queries from Amazon customers, supporting them in resolving billing issues and reconciling accounts. You will drive monthly collection targets, ensuring that your assigned portfolio is managed effectively. Your responsibilities will include maintaining detailed records of accounts receivable, applying credits and collections, and accounting for uncollectible amounts. You will also monitor high-risk accounts and escalate challenges to management as needed. Your proactive approach will help improve the customer experience, and you will assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for improvement.
