Senior Quality Engineer

Storable is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our engineering team. You will partner with product management and development engineers to deliver high-quality features for our customers. This is a key role in advancing Storable’s quality advocacy and testing strategies for our product components. What you'll do: 

• Work in an Agile SDLC to deliver incremental customer and business value and advance the quality of our award winning products within a scrum team. 
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Development Engineers and Architects to clarify user stories, iron out ambiguities, drive test and validation strategies that guide the development and delivery of the product.
• Improve the quality of our products through advocacy, planning, automated and manual testing and helping to measure the effectiveness of our validation efforts.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Object Oriented Programming principles with modern test automation frameworks and tools, e.g. Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber/Gherkin. 
• Experience in API automation 
• exposure to Java background 
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies, deployment integrations, and pipeline validation (github/gitlab) 
• Proficiency using SQL to query and validate data, preferably in Postgres SQL. 
• Mentor and guide more junior engineers toward mature quality advocacy and test engineering craftsmanship. 
• Communicate and coordinate effectively within the squad, across our technology team, and with our business partners to deliver on top priorities.
• Participate in the Storable wide technology community to help continuously improve process efficiencies and provide cultural continuity across the organization. 

What you’ll bring: 

• A passion for driving quality advocacy and test engineering principles to build exceptional products in an Agile scrum SDLC environment.
• Role minimum 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  ● The technical acumen and inquisitiveness to understand software applications and complex technical systems. 
• Strong communication and mentoring skills and the ability to contribute innovative ideas & solutions. 
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
