Sophos is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer focused on National Accounts to manage technical aspects of partnerships and drive sales. This role requires a strong technical background and experience in sales within the cybersecurity industry.
You have a strong technical background and experience in sales, ideally within the cybersecurity industry. You understand the importance of aligning technical requirements with business needs and have a proven track record of managing partner relationships effectively. You are comfortable presenting to larger audiences and training partners on Sophos solutions, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in selling our products. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner sets you apart.
You are located in Germany, preferably in the Munich area, and are familiar with the local market dynamics. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with national partners to drive mutual success. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for product trials and evaluations, ensuring that partners can effectively demonstrate the value of Sophos solutions to their customers.
Experience with cybersecurity solutions and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape will be advantageous. Familiarity with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services and the ability to leverage historical and real-time threat intelligence will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adaptable and willing to learn about new technologies and services as Sophos continues to innovate in the cybersecurity space.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of partnerships with national accounts. You will determine the technical requirements of partners and match them to Sophos solutions, ensuring that they can effectively sell our products. You will conduct product trials and evaluations, working closely with partners to ensure their success. Presenting in front of larger audiences will be a key part of your role, as you will train partners on the features and benefits of Sophos solutions.
You will collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback from partners and help shape the development of our products. Your insights will be valuable in refining our offerings and ensuring they meet the needs of the market. You will also be involved in generating business through these partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
