Job Description

International Technology is the team responsible for the technology behind Amazon International Expansion. We focus on creating global innovation based on local needs. We are dedicated to delivering new and improving existing customer experiences for our global customers. We work backwards from customers to understand their needs and frustrations, then build and experiment with innovative features and automated solutions on both desktop and mobile platforms.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (Tech) to envision, lead, and drive the adoption of compliance solutions for Amazon across multiple Amazon geographies. This role is critical to scale our operations and to work closely with our customers for product evolution.

As a Senior PM Tech in our organization, you will be responsible for the following:

- Lead the development of the product strategy and product adoption across multiple geographies. You will work in the interception of product, business and engineering to evolve these services.
- Work closely with Program Management teams and business partners to define strategies to improve CX and product operations.
- Demonstrate a strong technical background and be effective in communicating with engineers and software development teams.
- Work with business leaders and executives across Amazon to define and prioritize product roadmaps based on the strategy and vision.
- Manage prioritization of the product roadmap and trade-offs among customer experience (projects), technical constraints, and operational excellence.
- Work closely with user experience and visual design, usability and other product management teams, and global engineering teams in an agile environment to identify opportunities, generate big ideas, and eventually launch products.
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Excel at selling new ideas across organizations, promoting the value proposition of products, and creating awareness for solid adoption.
- Be involved in hiring the best engineering and product management talent for our organization.

The ideal candidate for this role will be customer-obsessed with the capability to dive in and learn new technologies quickly, and who is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto to "Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History." Previous experience scaling operations for products across multiple countries is highly desired.

Expect to be in charge of new projects and initiatives, developing new products, managing business and technical requirements, driving performance, and helping build plans for the future. We need someone who is eager to grow with us and help us change the future.- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
