Agiloft is hiring a Staff Software Engineer – Full Stack to enhance their Data-first Agreement Platform. You'll work with technologies like Java, JavaScript, and AWS to build seamless contract lifecycle management solutions. This role requires extensive experience in full stack development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in full stack development, where you've successfully built and maintained complex applications. Your expertise spans both frontend and backend technologies, allowing you to create cohesive and efficient systems that enhance user experience. You are proficient in Java and JavaScript, and you understand how to leverage these languages to build scalable applications. Your experience with Python adds to your versatility, enabling you to work across different layers of the technology stack.

You have a solid understanding of REST API design and implementation, ensuring that your applications can communicate effectively with other services. Your familiarity with GraphQL allows you to optimize data fetching and improve performance in your applications. You are also experienced in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, which you use to deploy and manage applications in a scalable manner.

Your knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker helps you streamline development and deployment processes, ensuring that your applications run smoothly in various environments. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You understand the importance of code quality and maintainability, and you actively participate in code reviews to help elevate the team's standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing Agiloft's Data-first Agreement Platform, focusing on creating seamless contract lifecycle management experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features that meet customer needs. Your work will involve building high-leverage connective tissue that allows emerging products and services to integrate into the platform effectively.

You will shape how data, workflows, and intelligence flow across systems, enabling seamless end-to-end contract experiences. Your technical expertise will help set patterns that make future expansion fast, elegant, and scalable. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production, ensuring that the platform remains reliable and efficient.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to help them grow in their careers. You will contribute to the overall technical direction of the team, advocating for best practices in software development and architecture. Your insights will help drive innovation within the team, as you explore new technologies and methodologies that can enhance Agiloft's offerings.
