Benchling is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive complex, end-to-end projects in the chemistry domain. You'll work with Python and React to build powerful tools that support scientific workflows. This role requires significant experience in software engineering.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on full-stack development. Your expertise spans both frontend and backend technologies, allowing you to design and implement scalable solutions that meet user needs. You are passionate about leveraging technology to advance scientific research and are excited about the potential of biotechnology.
Your proficiency in Python and React enables you to create intuitive user interfaces and robust backend systems. You understand the importance of data integrity and quality in scientific applications, and you are committed to delivering high-impact features that enhance user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, which allow you to tackle complex challenges in software design and implementation. You have experience leading projects from conception to delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the development process are executed efficiently. You are also open to mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning within the team.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Benchling, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of high-impact features and systems across the stack. You will work on projects that integrate chemistry tools with existing products, enhancing the capabilities of our R&D Cloud. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
You will be responsible for driving complex, end-to-end projects, translating product requirements into scalable architecture. Your work will directly contribute to the development of tools that support a broad range of scientific workflows, helping to accelerate the pace of scientific discovery. You will also focus on maintaining high standards of quality and data integrity throughout the development process.
