Job Description

Who you are

You have a background in manufacturing with a focus on PCBA processes — your experience includes executing new product introduction builds and operating automated equipment. You thrive in environments where you can solve complex problems and drive resolutions that have a significant impact on production quality and efficiency.

Your technical skills include proficiency in tools such as Altium Designer and AutoCAD, which you have used to support the design and manufacturing of electronic components. You are familiar with embedded systems and have a solid understanding of Linux environments, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize production processes effectively.

You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in the products you help manufacture. Your ability to triage non-conforming products and implement preventative actions demonstrates your proactive approach to quality assurance.

You enjoy working in fast-paced settings and are comfortable with aggressive timelines — your adaptability allows you to manage multiple priorities while ensuring design integrity and product quality. You are also skilled in process development and validation, which is crucial for transitioning products from development to volume production.

Desirable

Experience with high-volume manufacturing and test processes is a plus, as is familiarity with the aerospace or satellite industry. You may also have knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards that govern manufacturing practices.

What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Specialist for the Starlink project, you will play a critical role in establishing new manufacturing and test processes. You will execute new product introduction builds across various work centers, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include programming, loading, and operating automated equipment to enhance production throughput.

You will be tasked with triaging non-conforming products, driving resolution, and implementing preventative actions to minimize future occurrences. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you resolve production issues while maintaining design integrity and adhering to delivery timelines.

In this role, you will also perform process development and validation on new models, working under tight deadlines to ensure successful transitions from development to full-scale production. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and reliability of the Starlink user terminal, which is vital for providing internet access worldwide.

What we offer

At SpaceX, you will be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to advancing space technology and enabling human life on Mars. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work alongside talented individuals who share your passion for innovation and excellence in manufacturing.

Join us in our ambitious mission to revolutionize global internet access through the Starlink satellite constellation. Your work will have a lasting impact on the future of connectivity and exploration.
