Deliveroo is seeking a Field-Based Business Development Executive to drive growth by signing up new restaurant partners in the North East. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a valid driving license for travel.
You have a proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within a competitive market. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is key, as you will be engaging with restaurant partners to enhance Deliveroo's offerings. You are comfortable working independently and enjoy being out on the road, visiting potential partners in your region. A valid driving license and access to a car are essential for this role, as travel across the North East is a significant part of your responsibilities.
You thrive in dynamic environments and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing business. Your organizational skills enable you to map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurant partnerships effectively. You are familiar with the local market and understand the nuances of customer preferences, which will help you identify the best restaurants to partner with.

Familiarity with technology solutions that enhance customer experiences can also be beneficial, as you will be demonstrating Deliveroo's technology to restaurant partners.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by signing up new restaurant partners in the North East. You will map out potential restaurant partners, conduct outreach through various communication channels, and pitch Deliveroo's value proposition to them. Your goal is to build strong relationships with these partners, ensuring they understand the benefits of joining Deliveroo's platform.
You will oversee the onboarding process for new restaurants, ensuring it is smooth and efficient. This involves coordinating with internal teams to facilitate the integration of new partners into the Deliveroo system. You will also be expected to provide feedback from restaurant partners to help improve our offerings and processes.
Your role will require you to stay informed about the local market trends and customer preferences, allowing you to identify opportunities for growth. You will regularly report to the Regional Manager on your progress and the performance of your partnerships, contributing to the overall strategy for the North East region.
