About the Role

We are looking for a Specialist- General Ledger Accounting to join the Finance team. You will work with the finance team and will report to Senior Manager - Finance Operations. You will be responsible for GL accounting operations.

 
A Day in the Life

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and perform month-end closing processes
• Assist in creating and analyzing periodic financial summaries for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  
  

What You Need

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role. SaaS or IT experience is preferred.
• Graduate / Postgraduate. CA/CMA.
