You are an enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in modern and contemporary art and education techniques. You possess the ability to engage and lead large groups of people of all ages in diverse activities, demonstrating patience and flexibility in a dynamic public work environment. Your skills in written communication are strong, allowing you to convey ideas effectively. Additionally, you have some experience with database and project management software, which will aid in your responsibilities during the internship. You are reliable and able to work independently, contributing positively to the team.

What you'll do

As a Family Programs Intern at SFMOMA, you will assist the Education Department in developing and implementing educational programs that connect visitors with modern and contemporary art. You will engage with families and diverse audiences, leading activities that foster a deeper understanding of art. Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to create inclusive and impactful programming. You will also help manage logistics for events and workshops, ensuring that all materials and resources are prepared in advance.
