Samsara is seeking an Account Executive to drive the adoption of IoT solutions among small to medium-sized customers. You'll engage in sales negotiations and build relationships with various stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of the IoT landscape and sales experience.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in technology or IoT solutions, and you thrive in high-energy environments where you can make a significant impact. You understand the importance of building relationships with customers and can effectively communicate the value of sensor data to various stakeholders, including owners and operational managers. You are comfortable navigating complex sales processes that involve proof of concepts and multi-faceted pricing negotiations. Your ability to engage with customers and understand their needs is crucial to your success in this role.
As an Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of our Connected Operations™ Cloud among small to medium-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to showcase how our IoT solutions can improve their operations, safety, and efficiency. Your typical sales will range from $5k to $20k, and you will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process. You will conduct presentations and demonstrations to illustrate the benefits of our products, and you will be involved in negotiations to finalize contracts. Your role will also include following up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
