Mintel is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their finance team in Kuala Lumpur. You'll be responsible for managing supplier data, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Accounts Payable.
You are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with experience in Accounts Payable, eager to progress your career in a global organization. You have a strong understanding of financial processes and are committed to maintaining accuracy in your work. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at resolving discrepancies with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Your attention to detail ensures that all supplier master data records are created and maintained accurately and timely. You are proactive in monitoring due dates to avoid late payments and optimize cash flow, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
In this role, you will create and maintain supplier master data records in the systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will process purchase orders, supplier invoices, and employee expenses, ensuring proper coding to general ledger accounts, departments, and projects. You will handle multi-currency payments using specified payment methods, collaborating with suppliers to expedite the purchasing process and resolve any payment discrepancies. You will perform aging analysis and ensure proper reconciliation of supplier accounts and bank accounts, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues as necessary. Additionally, you will implement and maintain compliance with financial and tax policies, procedures, and internal controls, supporting month-end closing activities and assisting with audits as required. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the efficiency of the finance team.
