This position will be based in Itapeva-MG.

Amazon is seeking highly experienced Operations Manager to support setup, integration, ongoing operations, and further expansion to the country of Brazil with complete responsibility for all processes within a warehouse. Successful candidate will effectively establish Amazon Operation’s culture and world class processes supporting our Amazon Brazilian teams. Two key responsibilities for this individual are to manage the performance of external fulfillment operations and provide the tactical link between core operations, corporate retail, customer service teams and the third party logistics provider.
External fulfillment works with the supply chain and retail teams to prioritize potential solutions, coordinates the integration with the third party and manages the daily operations. This individual is the owner who ensures the external partners are complying with Amazon High Standard in terms of fulfillment quality. You will develop expertise throughout the entire fulfillment process - including Retail, Business Development, Integration Services, Supply Chain, External Fulfillment Platform, Enterprise Integration, Transportation, Customer Service and Accounts Payable. In taking this role, you will ensure customer-centrist policies throughout integration process.

Amazon está buscando um Gerente de Operações com vasta experiência para suportar o setup, a integração, operações já em andamento e futuras expansões no Brasil com completa responsabilidade por todos os processos dentro de um Centro de Distribuição. O candidato bem-sucedido estabelecerá efetivamente a cultura de Operações da Amazon e os processo de classe mundial, apoiando nossos times da Amazon do Brasil.

As responsabilidades principais para esse profissional são gerenciar o desempenho das operações externas do centro de distribuição e fornecer o vínculo tático entre as operações principais, comercial, equipes de atendimento ao cliente e o prestador de serviços logísticos.

O centro de distribuição terceirizado atua com os times de supply chain e comercial para priorizar potenciais soluções, coordenar a integração entre o operador logístico e gerencia a operação diariamente. Este profissional é responsável por garantir que os prestadores de serviços externos atuarão em conformidade com os mais altos padrões da Amazon em termos de qualidade de atendimento. Você desenvolverá experiência em todo processo de entrega, incluindo a área Comercial, Desenvolvimento do Negócio, Integração de Serviços, Supply Chain, Plataforma de Atendimento Externalizada, Integração Corporativa, Transportes, Atendimento ao Cliente e Contas à Pagar. Ao assumir esta função, você garantirá políticas centralizadas no cliente durante todo o processo de integração.

Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of warehouse operations;
- Strong commitment to and passion for customer satisfaction;
- Manage the daily, tactical relationship with third party logistics vendors, including managing their performance and drive improvements;
- Resolve logistical, operational, and systems issues that arise by working with vendors and various Amazon teams;
- Maintain the knowledge and implement improvements in inbound, inventory and outbound practices within the fulfillment center;
- Work closely with other support teams (Safety & Security Manager, HR, Financial Manager, Facilities Manager, IT Manager) to build and secure support of resources for projects and initiatives;
- Maintain knowledge of our carrier’s shipping policies;
- Liaise with Customer Service team to provide operational process knowledge;
- Coordinate receiving problem resolution, including tracking issues and corresponding with internal support teams;
- Assess orders or shipments stuck in processing;
- Dig deep into data to determine root cause of defects;
- Support negotiation of vendor contracts;
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures;
- Manage the 3PL metrics for reporting to corporate Senior Leadership teams;
- Provide expertise on Brazil operations/transportation and best practices;
- Ability to work with technology to develop innovative solutions and to work independently and in a team environment;
- Well-rounded experience in continuous improvement by influencing decisions and driving projects across multiple groups in an organization.

- Forte comprometimento e paixão pela satisfação do cliente;
- Gerenciar o relacionamento diário e tático com fornecedores de logística terceirizada, (3PL), incluindo o gerenciamento de seu desempenho e condução de melhorias;
- Solucionar problemas logísticos, operacionais e de sistemas que surgem, trabalhando com fornecedores e diferentes times da Amazon;
- Manter o conhecimento e implementar melhorias nos processos de Inbound, Inventário e Outbound, dentro do centro de distribuição;
- Trabalhar em estreita colaboração com outras equipes de suporte (Gerente de Segurança e Proteção, RH, Gerente Financeiro, Gerente de Instalações, Gerente de TI) para construir e garantir o suporte de recursos para projetos e iniciativas;
- Manter o conhecimento das políticas dos nossos transportadores;
- Fazer interface com o time de Atendimento ao Cliente para fornecer conhecimento dos processos operacionais;
- Coordenar a resolução de problemas de recebimento, incluindo rastreamento de problemas e correspondência com equipes internas de suporte;
- Investigar pedidos de compras ou de embarque que estão travados no processo;
- Aprofundar-se nos dados para determinar a causa raiz dos defeitos;
- Auxiliar na negociação de contratos de fornecedores;
- Desempenhar responsabilidades de supervisão de acordo com as políticas e procedimentos da organização;
- Gerenciar as métricas do 3PL para reportar aos times de Liderança Sênior Corporativa.
- Fornecer experiência em operações/transporte no Brasil e melhores práticas;
- Habilidade para trabalhar com tecnologia para desenvolver soluções inovadoras e trabalhar independentemente e em equipe;
- Experiência completa em melhoria contínua, influenciando decisões e conduzindo projetos em vários grupos em uma organização.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- Relevant experience in people management and development;
- Relevant experience working with stakeholders in a complex, occasionally ambiguous environment;
- Proven ability to build, execute, manage, and improve processes, programs and projects;
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays;
- Fluent in Portuguese and advanced English skills;
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps, VBA) at an advanced level and SQL- MBA or Post-Graduate Degree;
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.
