You have a proven track record in sales engineering, with experience managing teams and driving technical sales processes. You are comfortable with technical concepts and can articulate the value proposition of complex solutions to diverse audiences. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. You are passionate about fostering a positive team culture and ensuring your team is equipped with the skills they need to succeed.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a team of Sales Engineers, guiding them in their efforts to qualify and close opportunities. You will partner closely with the Sales Team to communicate the overall Datadog value proposition and strategy to customers. Your responsibilities will include resource allocation to maximize team productivity and engagement, as well as assisting in recruiting top talent for your region. You will mentor new hires during their onboarding process, ensuring they ramp up effectively. Additionally, you will develop strong partnerships with Product Management, Support, and Enablement teams to ensure your Sales Engineers are well-equipped to support all required Datadog solutions. You will take an active technical role in customer-facing activities, providing expertise during product demonstrations and technical evaluations. Your leadership will be crucial in expanding the usage of Datadog within customer accounts, and you will play a key role in shaping the success of your team and the organization.
