We are seeking a product leader to join our Amazon Music Subscriptions team to lead the Payments charter in India. Our team ensures that Amazon Music Unlimited customers have a seamless subscription management experience. As a Payments PMT, you will drive the global payments strategy that powers Amazon Music subscriptions and purchases. You will be at the forefront of launching new payment methods, scaling existing ones, and enabling customer access across emerging and established markets.

You will be working closely with UX Design, software engineers, Finance, Marketing, and BI to drive the program with the right balance of external vs. internal customer obsession in mind.

Key job responsibilities
Payment Method Expansion: Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new payment methods globally, with a strong focus on emerging markets and regional nuances.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global stakeholders across tech, product, legal, compliance, and marketing to instrument and launch payment capabilities end-to-end.

Strategic Ownership: Own and evolve the payments strategy for new market entries and existing country expansions. Develop roadmaps that reflect local customer needs and market trends.

Adoption & Performance: Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption, engagement, and performance of key payment methods post-launch.

Market Research & Insights: Stay ahead of global payments trends. Analyze competitive offerings, consumer behaviors, and regulatory environments to inform Amazon Music’s payment strategies.

Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and internal evangelist for payment innovation. Provide thought leadership on how to enhance the overall payment experience for Amazon Music customers.

Write and deliver business requirement documents and artifacts required to enable the team's development of products, features and infrastructure. Maintain and continuously prioritize backlog and roadmap based on data and customers' needs. Write narratives to advocate for and justify product launches / changes

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning- MBA
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
