Red Teaming Analyst, Trust and Safety, YouTube

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 7 years of experience in Trust and Safety, product policy, privacy and security, legal, compliance, risk management, intel, content moderation, red teaming, AI testing, adversarial testing, or similar fields. Your background includes a year of experience in data analytics or research, business process analysis, and you may hold a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field. You have experience working with Google's products and services, particularly in Generative AI products and AI systems, and understand their potential risks. Your technical skills include proficiency in SQL and experience with building dashboards, data collection/transformation, and visualization. You are adept at using data to provide solutions and recommendations, identifying emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.

Desirable

You have strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and can influence cross-functionally at various levels. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are proactive in your approach to enhancing safety on platforms like YouTube.

What you'll do

As a Red Teaming Analyst at Google, you will be part of YouTube's Trust and Safety team, dedicated to making the platform a safe space for users and content creators. You will collaborate with partner teams to leverage and evolve best practices in safety and security. Your role will involve expanding your expertise and serving as a thought partner on novel testing, providing guidance to product launch owners, and driving progress and alignment across Trust and Safety teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to create and share new insights and approaches for testing, threat assessment, and AI safety. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and integrity of YouTube, ensuring that users can create and express themselves freely while navigating global legal frameworks and enforcing worldwide policy.
