You'll work with CMMS systems and OEE to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in reliability engineering.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a background in reliability engineering with a focus on material handling equipment (MHE) — your experience includes developing maintenance strategies that enhance equipment performance and extend useful life. You are skilled in using data-driven approaches to inform your decisions, leveraging tools like CMMS systems and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics to optimize operations. Your ability to build productive relationships with internal customers and vendors is key to your success in this role, and you approach challenges with patience and a sense of humor. You are comfortable traveling to various facilities across North America and Europe, adapting to different environments and cultures.

Desirable

Experience with advanced project management tools such as defect mapping and Gantt Charts is a plus. Familiarity with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) will help you identify potential issues before they arise, ensuring the reliability of critical assets.

What you'll do

In your role as a MHE Reliability Engineer, you will lead initiatives aimed at maximizing the overall effectiveness of equipment. This includes capturing best practices and rolling out improvements across various business units. You will develop and own programs that enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and lower maintenance costs, ensuring scalability across the organization. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback into the design process, focusing on safety and sustainability. You will manage projects from concept through to network rollout, utilizing your expertise in project management to ensure successful implementation.

What we offer

Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, financial, and other forms of compensation. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our operations. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds in our team.
