Job Description

**About the Role** We’re looking for a Senior Strategic Operations Associate to help us scale Uber for Business, one of the most exciting and fastest growing business units at Uber. The role is focused on growing Uber for Business’s self-service channel in EMEA, a complex region with some of our fastest growing markets. It will require strong cross-functional partnership to continuously align strategic vision and fearlessly drive execution. We are flexible regarding location and can base this role in either our London or Amsterdam office. While the remit is initially UK-centric, the scope will eventually evolve to encompass the wider EMEA region. **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- 1. **Growth strategy and launch** \- Partner with the Global teams in Ops, Marketing, Product, and Support to define and launch new growth initiatives for key EMEA markets. 2. **Program management** \- Manage the execution of a portfolio of growth initiatives in partnership with cross-functional partners (Product, Marketing, Support, Sales operations, etc.). Where appropriate, collaborate with stakeholders to tailor global initiatives to the regional context. 3. **Analytics** \- Use your analytical skills to identify growth opportunities and drive strategy through business insights 4. Build and maintain reporting to track progress across a variety of top line and operational metrics for the region 5. Communicate findings and insights to diverse audiences including Uber for Business leadership and cross functional teams in Monthly Business Reviews or other forums 6. **Market intelligence** \- Monitor macro and competitive trends in key EMEA markets, and develop recommendations for how to respond – through commercial levers, product innovation, etc. 7. **Be a subject matter expert**\- Become an expert on the Uber for Business self-serve product and the SMB segment, and leverage your expertise to shape the agenda for regional growth. \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 1. 4+ years of experience in project/program management, operations, or related field 2. Experienced SQL user or similar query language 3. Bachelor’s degree \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience managing meetings and presentations with senior leaders 2. Analytical thinker, with experience using data to drive business decisions 3. Strong business acumen, with experience evaluating a line of business and understanding how to drive commercial growth 4. Strong organization and project management skills, including ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously 5. Skilled in synthesizing information quickly to distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires 6. Experience building deep relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, anticipating their concerns and successfully advocating for your priorities 7. Comfort addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems 8. An ability to identify new sales use cases, playbook findings, and share out with regional teams to gain adoption and accelerate growth 9.
