SpaceX is hiring a Production Coordinator for the Dragon program to support manufacturing and production teams. You'll ensure timely delivery of components and assemblies while coordinating with various teams. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
You have experience in production coordination and understand the importance of timely delivery in a manufacturing environment. You are detail-oriented and capable of monitoring and tracking parts through the production flow. Your ability to work collaboratively with various teams, including planning, procurement, and engineering, is essential for success in this role. You are proactive in resolving issues related to system data and demand schedules, ensuring that production metrics are met. You are comfortable analyzing data and developing metrics to drive optimal results. You understand the significance of maintaining clean and accurate MRP/ERP data and are committed to following SpaceX specifications for handling parts.
As a Production Coordinator, you will monitor and track the movement of parts through the production flow, ensuring that components are delivered on time to the next production location. You will coordinate the physical movement of parts through various work centers, including receiving inspection and stock rooms. Your role will involve working closely with production supervisors and managers to ensure that all metric-driven action requirements are understood and met. You will assist in resolving any incorrect system data that could lead to inappropriate demand or scheduling issues. Additionally, you will analyze available data to develop metrics that drive optimal results and update the target management system to reflect progress. Your collaboration with production personnel will be crucial in ensuring that all metric goals are clearly communicated and understood.
