SecurityScorecard is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to enhance their cybersecurity ratings platform. You'll be involved in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring product quality and reliability. This role requires a collaborative mindset and a focus on automation testing.
You have a solid background in quality assurance and automation testing, with experience in various testing methodologies and tools. You understand the importance of delivering high-quality software and are committed to ensuring that products meet the highest standards before they reach customers. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development process. Your analytical skills allow you to effectively troubleshoot problems and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as the industry evolves.
Experience with specific automation tools or frameworks would be a plus, as would familiarity with Agile methodologies. A background in cybersecurity or experience working in a tech startup environment can also enhance your candidacy. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and are comfortable suggesting changes to processes that can lead to better outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of SecurityScorecard's products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test cases that cover all aspects of the software. Your work will involve identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, as well as verifying fixes and enhancements. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices. Additionally, you will help mentor junior QA team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of quality within the team.
