Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to play a key role in the Advertising Finance FP&A team. As a member of the central FP&A team, you will participate in the overall Ads planning process and driving process improvements. For example, you will be assisting in managing planning process, organizational goals, and developing headcount and OpEx models and analysis for the Ads organization. You will have opportunities in working closely with business finance teams and senior finance leadership in managing finance deliverables.
This role requires a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, and solid skills in data mining and business intelligence. This role has regular interaction with senior business and finance leaders and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.- 1+ years of finance experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
