Hootsuite is seeking a Contract Operations Strategist to support the New Business and Customer & Expansion teams in executing deals and ensuring compliance. You'll work closely with various departments and utilize Salesforce for CRM management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in contract operations, ideally with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. You understand the intricacies of contract management and compliance, and you are adept at advising sales teams on best practices. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Finance, to ensure that contracts are structured correctly and meet all necessary requirements. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, especially when it comes to resolving contractual issues. You are comfortable using CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, to manage data integrity and support sales processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with diverse teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or SaaS company is a plus, as is familiarity with contract negotiation and renewal processes. You may have a background in sales operations or revenue operations, which would enhance your ability to support the teams effectively. A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement in contract processes will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will advise sales representatives and managers on contract best practices, ensuring that all new contracts and renewals are accurately structured. You will act as a subject matter expert on contracts for the New Business and Customer & Expansion teams, providing guidance and support as needed. Your responsibilities will include capturing contractual requirements for complex deals that may involve multiple departments, such as Legal and Finance. You will assist in monitoring a working queue to resolve requests for assistance from sales on a daily basis, ensuring that service level agreements are met. Additionally, you will review contracts pre and post-sale to ensure compliance with operational procedures and financial audit requirements. You will also provide assistance in resolving any contractual issues that arise during the process. Your role will involve supporting the day-to-day use of Salesforce, including account setup, opportunity creation, and closing out opportunities, ensuring data integrity throughout.
