HelloFresh is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of equipment at their Derby site. You'll perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with repairs on various systems. This role requires a background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
You are a motivated individual with a background in electrical and mechanical engineering, eager to learn and grow in a hands-on environment. You understand the importance of maintaining equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. You have experience or knowledge in performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and are familiar with health and safety regulations. You are proactive in identifying defects and reporting them promptly to ensure a safe working environment. You thrive in a team setting and are willing to assist contractors and colleagues in achieving common goals. You are committed to continuous improvement and are open to learning new skills and technologies.
As a Junior Maintenance Engineer at HelloFresh, you will be responsible for fixing, maintaining, and improving equipment on site. You will perform planned preventative maintenance on various systems, including automated and gravity conveying systems, refrigeration plants, and more. You will identify defects that arise during operations and report them immediately to your Line Manager. You will assist contractors with repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work complies with health and safety regulations. You will keep up to date on defect tickets raised on the CMMS system and actively participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your role will involve working rotating shifts, including days and nights, to ensure that maintenance needs are met at all times.
