Block is hiring an Implementation & Onboarding Project Manager to manage the final stages of the sales funnel and drive onboarding processes for US merchants. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships.
You have a strong background in project management, ideally with experience in onboarding and implementation processes. You understand the importance of guiding clients through complex journeys and ensuring they are set up for success. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is key, as you will be working closely with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams. You are proactive in anticipating challenges and developing strategies to overcome them, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for sellers.
Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, as is familiarity with financial technology or e-commerce platforms. You are comfortable with both remote and onsite interactions, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to client engagement. A background in sales or account management can enhance your effectiveness in this role, allowing you to drive deal velocity and accountability.
In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working directly with US merchants to accelerate their onboarding process. You will be responsible for ensuring that sellers are optimally scoped, educated, and trained to leverage Square’s platform effectively. Your role will involve cultivating strong relationships across various teams to align on the seller journey and remove any barriers to success. You will also be instrumental in documenting and tracking feature requests to inform future product roadmaps. Expect to travel occasionally as part of your responsibilities, engaging with merchants both remotely and onsite.
