You have a strong background in automated testing, with experience designing and maintaining automated tests for modern web APIs and distributed systems. Your proficiency in Python 3 and familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest enable you to create reliable test suites that align with CI/CD practices. You are skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, allowing you to effectively communicate defects, risks, and validation approaches to your team. In this role, you will develop and maintain automated test frameworks and cases for global telco operator APIs, ensuring that quality, security, and observability are integrated into the software lifecycle. You will collaborate with architecture and design teams, providing input on testability and validation approaches. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining CI/CD-aligned test suites that encompass unit, integration, contract, performance, and security testing. You will work closely with teams to standardize testing tools and contribute to shared test frameworks, enhancing the overall testing strategy.
You will execute quality operations by running and monitoring test jobs, contributing to defect triage, and supporting releases. Additionally, you will produce developer-facing assets such as sample code, user guides, and reference applications to facilitate better understanding and usage of the APIs. Documenting, tracking, and communicating issues and insights will be crucial in driving continuous improvement within the team.
