You are skilled in leading teams and managing the end-to-end clinical lifecycle of medical policies, ensuring compliance with current clinical literature and standards. Your experience allows you to serve as a clinical subject matter expert, guiding the appraisal of medical evidence to support optimal health outcomes for members. You are comfortable working in a remote environment and are adaptable to changing work models.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the clinical research and development of medical necessity criteria within the Office of Clinical Affairs. You will be responsible for reviewing and developing medical policies that align with evidence-based practices. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that coverage criteria for medical services, devices, and technologies are supported by current clinical literature. You will also oversee the compliance of clinical policies, ensuring they meet national standards and support the health outcomes of Oscar's members. As the lead clinical subject matter expert, you will guide your team in the appraisal of medical evidence and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical policies.
