Databricks is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to provide technical expertise and demonstrate their Data Intelligence Platform to clients. You'll work collaboratively with a customer-focused team and utilize skills in Apache Spark and data analytics. This role is based in Amsterdam.
You have a strong background in solutions engineering with a focus on pre-sales activities — your technical expertise allows you to effectively communicate complex data solutions to clients. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Benelux Field Engineering team, working closely with Account Executives and Senior Solutions Architects to deliver exceptional value to clients. You will demonstrate the capabilities of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform through hands-on evaluations and Spark programming, showcasing how it can solve complex data challenges. Your responsibilities will include engaging with clients at workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to build excitement around Databricks and its offerings. You will contribute to the development of customized solutions that align with client goals, ensuring that they can leverage data effectively to drive their business forward. You will also play a key role in building the Databricks technical community, sharing insights and best practices with peers and clients alike. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively will be essential in helping clients understand the value of our platform and how it can be integrated into their existing workflows.
