You have 5+ years of experience in sales, particularly in selling highly technical products in the cloud. Your background includes a strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning, as well as public cloud technologies. You are adept at navigating complex sales cycles and have a proven track record of driving customer expansion through innovative solutions.
You possess a deep knowledge of big data and how it can be leveraged to create value across various industries. Your approach to selling is solution-oriented, focusing on understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions that maximize impact. You thrive in collaborative environments and believe that teamwork is essential for success.
Your experience with open-source technologies and value selling methodologies sets you apart. You are a creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion, specifically skilled in land-and-expand strategies. You are passionate about communicating the value of technical products to customers and partners, ensuring they understand the benefits of the Databricks platform.
Experience in sales within the big data sector is a plus, as is familiarity with various data platforms. You are comfortable engaging with multiple buying centers within organizations, assessing their needs, and developing strategies to engage them effectively. Your ability to compress decision cycles and guide deals forward is a key strength.
As a Digital Native Core Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling to a named list of target customers, focusing on new opportunities and increasing consumption of the Databricks platform. You will assess your accounts and develop strategies to identify and engage all buying centers, ensuring that you maximize Databricks' impact in each account.
You will utilize a solution approach to selling, creating value for customers and promoting successful negotiations through close. Your role will involve building strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique challenges, and delivering technical and business results using the Databricks platform.
You will work closely with the engaged customer team to drive innovation and customer expansion. Your ability to identify viable use cases in each account will be crucial in expanding Databricks' footprint and achieving sales targets.
