Glovo is hiring a Platform Engineer to enhance their Infrastructure Runtime team. You'll focus on building and scaling Kubernetes-based platforms on AWS, utilizing GitOps and CI/CD practices. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation tools.
You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS, and are experienced in building scalable systems that enhance engineering productivity. Your expertise in Kubernetes allows you to manage container orchestration effectively, ensuring system reliability and performance. You are familiar with GitOps workflows and have hands-on experience with tools like ArgoCD for managing deployments. Your knowledge of CI/CD practices is robust, and you have successfully implemented scalable pipelines using GitHub Actions. You understand Infrastructure as Code principles and have worked with Terraform to manage infrastructure efficiently. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring others and leading cross-team initiatives to drive technical excellence.
In this role, you will support technical projects that evolve Glovo's Kubernetes-based compute platform on AWS, focusing on enhancing reliability and scalability. You will iterate on GitOps workflows, utilizing Argo CD and Argo Rollouts to ensure safe and automated deployments. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and improving CI/CD best practices by building and managing scalable GitHub Actions pipelines. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring a seamless experience for developers. Additionally, you will lead initiatives that promote engineering velocity and platform resilience, serving as a technical reference within the Infrastructure domain. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering teams across the organization.
