Overview

CharterUP is seeking a Manager of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis efforts. You'll work on innovative SaaS solutions in the group transportation industry. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in finance management.

Who you are

You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You understand the intricacies of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, and you can translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to present financial information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance. You are proactive and take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function at CharterUP. You will develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into business performance. You will collaborate with various departments to gather data and ensure accurate financial reporting. Your role will involve preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations to improve financial outcomes. You will also play a key role in preparing presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders, summarizing financial performance and strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
