What you'll do

As the Principal Engineering Manager, you will lead the Azure Data engineering team in the development of large-scale managed database cloud services — your role will involve overseeing the design and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of Microsoft’s database offerings. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the team, ensuring that engineering practices align with industry standards and best practices.

You will collaborate with product management to define the roadmap for database services, prioritizing features and enhancements that drive customer satisfaction and business growth — your insights will help shape the future of Microsoft’s data platform. You will also be involved in recruiting top talent, building a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the values of Microsoft.
