Job Description

At Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, we are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team working out of distribution center near Incheon, Yeongjung-do. This role serves as the backbone of our global supply chain operations within Korea. This multifaceted role encompasses every aspect of supply chain from imports and customs clearance to warehouse management, distribution, and order fulfillment. You'll work closely with our 3PL partners to ensure inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and timely delivery of our iconic instruments and accessories to customers worldwide. The position requires exceptional attention to detail as you manage import documentation, coordinate with freight forwarders, and analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Beyond logistics, you'll provide crucial support to our customer service team, helping resolve order discrepancies and shipping issues while maintaining product knowledge that reflects our passion for musical excellence. During peak seasons and product launches, your ability to collaborate across departments will ensure that Fender's legendary quality standards are maintained throughout the entire fulfillment journey. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering the instruments that help musicians shape the sound of music around the world.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations including imports, warehousing, distribution, shipping, and order management to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with 3PL partners to track inventory, process shipments, maintain accurate records, and monitor performance against established SLAs.
  • Oversee customs clearance processes with brokers, preparing and reviewing all import documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance for international shipments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and customer concerns while providing exceptional support through multiple channels.
  • Generate and analyze key supply chain reports (KPIs, cycle counts, quality inspections) to identify opportunities for duty savings, process improvements, and cost reductions.
  • Support cross-functional teams during peak seasons, product launches, and special events while maintaining product knowledge for proper handling of Fender instruments and accessories.
  • Process returns and exchanges accurately while maintaining detailed records in Fender's customer relationship management systems.
  • Build product expertise to effectively communicate Fender's features and benefits, identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction through personalized service and proactive communication.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or global supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs compliance, and import documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with experience coordinating with 3PL partners and resolving complex logistics challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and external partners while maintaining attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • Musical knowledge and familiarity with Fender products highly desirable; ability to understand technical aspects of musical instruments
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service experiences that align with the Fender brand
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
